How Urban NW Homes is Operating During the Stay-at-Home Order

Apr 27 2020

We are open and ready to assist you! Governor Inslee has called for the restart of residential construction on a limited basis and under strict guidelines. Here's how we are working within Phase 1 of the Construction Restart to move home builds along:

Resuming Current Home Builds and Field Operations: Phase 1 construction authorizes builders to work only on existing construction projects that can be performed while maintaining the six-foot social distancing requirements and while following a COVID-specific jobsite safety plan. That means in-progress builds can resume, but no new starts can begin. Home visits and repairs for current homeowners (unless deemed an emergency), will be on hold until notified further. For those customers currently in the home building process, your Client Relationship Manager will continue to provide consistent communication. Urban NW Homes is committed to building your home and keeping you updated on the status of operations.

Continuing Sales Operations Remotely: Luckily, much of new home shopping and planning can be done online! Virtual tours and photos of our floorplans are available on our website, and we're available 7 days a week to discuss details and assist you virtually. Get in touch to start designing your new green home!

While our model homes are currently not open for on-site tours, our New Home Sales Consultants would be happy to set up a video appointment for consultations and design meetings, and can still facilitate many transactions and lot holds remotely. Per the Governor's order, if you are working with a relator, you are allowed an in-person showing provided no more than two people are present within the home at one time, one of which must be the realtor. If you choose this option, rest assured each home will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival.

Social Distancing: In accordance with CDC guidelines, we continue to maintain social distancing practices. This includes teleworking for administrative and sales team members and suspending all in-person company meetings. While Phase 1 lifted some construction restrictions, activities that require work performed less than six-feet apart are currently not allowed and will be adhered to.

Staying Informed: We are closely monitoring this rapidly evolving situation and keeping our team, residents, and customers up to date as information is provided to us. We will continue to keep this page updated as things change as well.
